With this second part of its springtime program, Anno Solare will lead us directly to the beginning of the forty-fourth edition of the Santarcangelo International Festival, which will take place from the 11th to the 20th of July.
The program is divided into many different activities: in addition to artistic residencies, theatrical outings and workshops, we are glad to announce the launch of a new project curated by Leonardo Delogu, that will be focused on the conception and exploration of landscapes and gardens through a series of meetings, conferences and outdoor hikes.
Even in this second part, Anno Solare will consist in moments of work-oriented closed meetings. In particular, we will be hosting various artists in residence that will be presenting the result of their work during the Festival. We are also organizing two important seminars: the first involves the working team that will be collaborating with us in the production of Santarcangelo•14, while the second seminar is addressed to young artists belonging to different artistic backgrounds. Coordinated by the renowned Italian essayist, journalist and author Goffredo Fofi, the members of the latter will get to know each other and share their experiences.
Furthermore, we are pleased to inform you that this year we will be collaborating with the Biennale Disegno, promoted by the Comune di Rimini, that will be exhibiting the drawings of Marco Smacchia, graphic designer behind the image of the last editions of the festival.
